cham chain tensioner
bmw m97 gear box shaft
"The Gold Standard"
This Mechanical Tensioner is designed for your BMW F800 engine. Installation of this Mechanical Tensioner prevents chain "rattle" at start-up and prolongs chain life. A must have for your BMW F800GS. This product is made in the USA with quality metals and precision machining. With greater adjustment capability, our Mechanical Tensioners eliminate chain rattle even on engines with more than 100,000 miles.
This Model fits all years of the BMW F800GS (All Years)
F800GS, F800GS ADVENTURE, F700GS, F650GS (twin) (FShockBrace)
The shock brace provides the added protection to the frame of you BMW Motorcycle. This is a must have if you are off roading the bike. The BMW is a heavy machine and is completely capible of heavy off road use but without this brace there is a weak point. If you notice the upper shock bolt is bent, you have reached this limit. With this part installed the upper shock bolt will no longer bend. This has been proven by BMW's stunt rider Chris "Teach" McNeil.
The M97 transmission input shaft fits all m97 5 speed gearboxes. This shaft it made to the specs of the original BMW manufactured shaft but with a higher level of hardness. Fix that 5 speed gearbox that has stripped the splines of clutches and get that bike back on the road. BMW has these on back order and have been for 3 years now. This is the fix for the problem.
Southern California MotoWerks is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to your suspension needs or concerns. We have been servicing and improving suspension components for 8 years now. We can rebuild the BWM ESA units as well as all other shocks. I find it better to improve on the factory shocks fitted to your motorcycle, especially when it is a heavy off-road motorcycle, as they are generally a heavy duty shock body that is less likely to crack from heavy impact conditions. When rebuilding the ESA Shocks, the functions of the ESA components are not removed, so even if it is modified for your riding style, the functions of your ESA shock will still work the same (sport, comfort, etc). In some cases if you have a shock that is setting faults for an internal component failure (rebound, preload), in most cases, we have been successful in making the correct repair to make the shock function properly. We have seen blown shocks that have had scored shock shafts in which case we can remove the shock shaft and re-chrome the component to factory spec. This is a cost effective way to keep the ESA Feature you paid a great deal of money for and is a good shock, but optimize the features to fit your riding style. For custom modifications to your shocks please email us, as we would love to understand the best way to make your shocks work properly for you in the most cost efficient way.
